The Operations Leader/ASD supports store leaders by providing primary daytime/mid-shift coverage and management of closing coverage. Provides direct oversight of auxiliary departmental functions and services: Cash Office, Services Co., Facilities, and Customer Champions.

Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary
-Majority of the time spent using independent judgment in making employment-related and business decisions, or effectively recommend such decisions including but not limited to product and department related strategies, hiring, promoting, disciplining, suspending, discharging, rewarding, or otherwise engage in resolving partner related matters.
- Leads Partners to maintain the best store conditions for sanitation and safety
- Accountable for the business operations for Gas, Cash office, Business Center and Maintenance areas
- Conducts audits to ensure that all Federal, State, and Company regulations are followed
- Conducts audits to ensure that standards of product freshness, food safety, and sanitation are met
- Ensures facility and equipment are properly maintained and in good repair to ensure product integrity and Partner safety
- Manages store sundry
- Oversees the management and order of store wrap and supplies
- Performance management for all direct reports
- Oversees store claims and damages
- Identifies shrink opportunities
- Uses financial analysis to evaluate the costs and benefits of ideas and recommendations
- Communicates new initiatives
- Ensures execution of programs
- Provides direction, guidance, or advice to ensure others complete assignments
- Responsible for handling customer complaints
- Works with department managers to ensure the needs of the business are met

- School of Retail Leadership (SORL) Training (or proven track record w/several years of management experience - with VP and HR approval)

Physical and Other Requirements
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced retail environment which requires detailed work and precision
- Must be able to be exposed to moderate noise level in the work environment
- Must be able to lift and carry 40-60 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, reach overheard and side-to-side throughout shift
- Must be able to work with customers, being attentive to their needs, yet maintaining composure in high stress situations
- Must be able to work extended hours and varying work schedule as dictated by the business
